It's not much different from having a Keurig or any other single coffee maker. I like that there is no water sitting in the unit for long periods of time. You literally have to boil water each time you want to use it.
The best coffee maker. Saved money in the long run with the stainless steel filter, which is very tough and easy to clean. Glass is elegantly designed and yet so simply. Totally satisfied with it. Also it arrived speedy quick. Highly recommend
I picked up the Hutch Pour Over Coffee Brewer about 2 months ago, and it has become my go-to coffee maker on the weekends when I make coffee. I've used a percolator to brew my coffee for as long as I can remember, and I was hesitant to change, but figured I'd give it a try.
It's so simple to bring the kettle to a boil, add a rounded tablespoon of my favourite espresso to the reusable filter and slow pour the boiled water over the grounds. The coffee tastes smooth, yet still strong as I usually like it. If I need to make coffee for a few friends, it's so easy to just wash the reusable filter and brew another carafe. Before, with the percolator, I'd have to run it under cold water or wait for it to cool, then bring the water to a boil again, then wait for the coffee to brew - it was actually a pretty big hassle.
The glass carafe looks beautiful and the simple, elegant stainless steel filter is a nice touch, as well. We keep our Pour Over on the counter, and we always get questions about where we got it when guests are over.
